Human Focus Consulting was founded in 2017 to inject a fresh and personal approach into people and culture management in today’s modern business environment.

I'm Frances Bearne,

Founder and Director of Human Focus Consulting and International Certified Coach

I created Human Focus because I’m passionate about helping corporates and SMEs to cut through traditional HR bureaucracy that slows down business growth. I apply a fresh and human approach towards people and culture management.


As an experienced people and culture consultant and executive and team coach, I thrive on creating value for businesses and people through a transparent, honest, and values-led approach.


I have multi-industry experience in finance, research and development, I.T., engineering, freight and logistics, government and construction.  With over 20 years’ experience that began in sales and management and evolved into over a decade in senior HR positions, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to any situation or project. I have worked in New Zealand and overseas, from small organisations through to large corporates.


I’m an internationally certified coach (International Coaching Community), ICC Team Coach, a trained conflict management coach (Australian and New Zealand Resolution Institute), and am accredited in Hogan Assessment Systems.


My passion is people, and when I'm not working, I love travelling and spending time with my family and friends, enjoying the beautiful New Zealand outdoors.
